DATE OF MOH ACTION: 14/10/1869 Lynx Creek, Arizona.

 

Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He was issued the award by US President Ulysses S. Grant on March 3, 1870 for his actions as a private in Company L of the 8th US Cavalry Division, US Army at Lynx Creek, Arizona Territory on October 14, 1869. He enlisted in the US Army in May 1868 and was discharged three years later at Fort Union, New Mexico. He died at the age of 24 or 25.
